All points serve the function of drawing the eye to them. They all let the viewer to know what the main subject is. in each of these photos has a focal point that draws the eye in. Circles are the most commonly used points because they bring the eye inward and create motion for the eye to be drawn to. In interior design, focal points let the eye know what it needs to look at and the motion that space is intended to be viewed.
